Saturday’s snow made it easy to spot human and animal visitors on Sunday.
This little robin came by to observe the mouse den we made from last year’s hay meadow cuttings. We’ve seen a couple of field mice coming and going from warm burrows in the hay and wood chip piles.
We have also seen lots of human foot prints in the snow, which gives us a very good idea of what’s popular, which directions people come from and go to.
Whilst the park itself had sledge-loads of visitors throughout the day, our corner was mostly popular in the morning, before we arrived. In the afternoon we had one family visit with a little girl who helped us do some hedgelaying.
